Costume (Thor x Reader)

Your POV;

        I'm sitting on the couch  in my small apartment in New York with crumpled up pieces of paper around me. I kept scribbling ideas for a costume, Halloween was coming up soon and I was going to Tony's party with Thor, my boyfriend. I didn't wanted to buy a costume this year, instead use my seamstress to create my costume and I don't know what Thor wanted to be. I sighed and stared up at the ceiling with no idea, I stayed there for about ten minutes until I heard a booming cheerful voice.  

        "(Y/N), Where are you!?" 

        "In the living room," I said as I tried drawing again until two buffy hands cover my eyes "What are you doing, Thor."

        "Coming home to see a beautiful maiden." He said as he kissed my head

        I moved his hands and smiled while looking at him, I wrapped my arms around his neck and he picked me up. He spun me around for a while and his face was in the crook of my neck as he put me back on the ground. We stood there for a while until he spoke.

        "(Y/N), can I ask you something?"

        "Sure sweetheart," I responded "what is it?"

         "Tony keeps calling me a name, but I don't know what it means." 

        "What's the name he keeps calling you?" I said as I mentally thinking to punch Tony in the jaw.

        "Rapunzel," He said while looking at me with a confused look as I stiffen a laugh "I don't know what it means."

        "Tony isn't calling you a bad name, You probably remind him of the princess Rapunzel."

        "How do you know about this Rapunzel character?" 

        "Rapunzel is one of the classic stories of princess, She has long blond hair. She trapped in a tower for most of her life until a prince comes along and saves her," I said smiling at him "there are many stories, but also a few movies to."

        "Do you mind if we watch these movies?" he asked

        "Sure, Thor go get in some comfortable clothes and we can watch the film." I said as he quickly disappears to our shared bedroom.

        I clean up all the pieces of paper and throw them in the recycle bin, I sit down on the couch and turned on Netflix. I felt part of the couch sink and two strong arms wrap around my waist, I click on Tangled and the movie started playing. We watched the film and I answered Thor's questions about it, He cried a little. Once the movie was over, Thor quickly ran to the kitchen and came back with a frying pan in  his hand.

        "I AM THE MIGHTY RAPUNZEL!" He yelled while raising the frying pan as I laughed at him

        "Well now I think I have figure out your costume or an idea>" I said

        "What are you thinking?"

        "Male Rapunzel," I said, waiting for his reaction "only if you want to?"

        "YES PLEASE (Y/N)!" he said picking my up and jumping around

        "Okay, I will get started as soon as possible." I said, giving him a kiss

        TIME SKIP

        I came up with two sketches and right now I had to get the measurements of Thor, so He was standing in the middle of my living room with arms out as I kept measuring parts of his body with fun tape. Thor was going to be going on a mission soon, so I thought why not get the measurements now? I finished and Thor kept pestering me about the design, I had to keep telling him It would be a surprise. On Sunday, I drove him over to Tony's tower and said bye to him along with I would have the costume done by the time he got back. When he left, I asked Nat to grab on of tony's many credit cards.

        "Why do you need Tony's card when you have your own money?" Nat asked as we dove to the fabric store

        "Because Tony has so much money, he doesn't know what to do with it." I told her

        "What are you planning anyway?"

        "You ask a lot of questions," I smirked as she glared at me "Something for Halloween."

        "Oooh planning something sexy~" She asked teasingly as I rolled my eyes

        "No, A few days ago Thor came home and wondered about Rapunzel, so We watched Tangled and he is now obsessed."

        "Ah, So you're turning him into Rapunzel?"

        "Or at least male version," I told her, flipping through my sketch book "Here what I came up with."

        I showed her the two different sketches of the genderbent Rapunzel and Flynn. (IMPORTANT: NOT MY ART, CREDIT GOES TO MABYCHAN.TUMBLR.COM)

        "Wow, that is cool," She said "but what about the hair, Thor's hair isn't long enough?'

        "Remember the is such a thing called a wig or hair extensions."

        We went into the fabric shop and I asked for the right amount of fabric and some leather, then I went to another store trying to find long boots in Thor's size and I did for a low price. After getting all the supplies, I went home and got started to work and I was working like a mad man trying to get the costume done. I know it isn't healthy, but I didn't sleep for two days nor eat and I only drank coffee. I hid the costume in a box in my room and I collapse on my shared bed, I fell asleep and I don't know for how long, but when I woke up and checked my phone. I had 23 messages and 33 missed calls. I checked my calendar, thinking it was Wensday, but it wasn't it was Saturday. Damn, I must have needed the sleep. I got up and poured another cup of  coffee, went to my work station, enjoying the silent Saturday mourning until my door was broken down. I threw one of my throwing knifes to the door frame and waited. I walked to the front door to see Steve and Tony on the floor, surprised.

        "May I help you gentlemen?" I asked while sipping my coffee

        "We were checking on you," Steve said while getting off the floor "We didn't hear from you yesterday and Thor called tried calling you then he called us."

        Thor called.......Damn it I missed his calls, I should call him later

        "Sorry, I was asleep and didn't have my phone by me." I answered 

        "Well well what do we have here," Tony said pointing at my work station "Whatcha doin here, (Y/N)"

        "Something for your Halloween party," I said as I fixed the door "And no I will not show you."

        "Well then we must wait," Tony said dramatically with the back of his hand on his forehead "THE HORROR!"

        I laughed as I pushed both of them out of my apartment and continued working on my costume, thankfully I just needed to do the corset and I would be done. It took me a while, but I got it done and I gave Thor a call.

        "Hello?"

        "Hey Thor."

        "(Y/N) I WAS SO WORRIED, I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU." Thor yelled through my phone as I put the phone away from my ear

        "I'm sorry, I fell asleep and didn't have my phone with me." I told him 

        "Ah, well what have you been up to?" he asked

        "Not much, been working on the costume for Halloween, but I'm not telling you."

        "But..............................Fine, I'm on my way home."

        "How far are you?" I asked then there was a knock at the door, I got up and answered it to see my lovely boyfriend, Thor

        "Not very far." He smirked and kissed me passionately, we stood there for a while then went inside to go cuddle and watch TV.

        TIME SKIP

        It was Halloween and I was still at my apartment with Thor, I had him wait on the couch to show him my costume. Once I got the belt on, I walked out and stood in front of him.

        "Okay, open your eyes," I told him and waited to see his reaction "What do you think?"

        He was surprised and picked me up to kiss me, he spun me around.

        "I HAVE MY OWN FLYNN RIDER!!" He yelled

        "Now can you please put me down?" I asked as he set me down and I ran to our shared rooom to grab his costume.

        I gave him the box it was in and waited for his reaction, he opened it as his expression changed and he was so excited that he kissed me and spun me around again. I calmed him down and helped him get in his costume, once we had that figured out he stopped in front of the door.

        "What about the hair and the fying pan?" 

        "Oh give me a momment," I said as I grabbed my spell book and did two quick spells, one made thor's hair long and made his hammer look like a frying pan. "There you go, I just need to finish puitting the bands in your hair."

        He sat on the floor quietly as I put the leather straps in his hair. Once we were done, I teleported us to Tony's tower and we stepped into the elevator, as we waited for the elevator to get us to the main room where the party was taking place. Thor kissed my cheek one last time before putting his hand on my waist when the doors opened to reveal a whole lot of people dressed up as different things and people, We walked through the crowd and went to the bar to  get some drinks. Thor got a beer while I got a simple soda, We talked to a few people and danced. The rest of the avengers came over and saw our costume, Natasha and Pepper were fan girling over the costumes, while the rest liked it. Clint took a picture of Thor and I then sent it to his wife to show his daughter, We talked to a few people and the rest of the night went great.
